Plans are now finalised for our proposed adventure to Darwin from Melbourne and return.
Our Tour will encompass NSW and Queensland to the Northern Territory, returning via South Australia to Victoria.
The distance will be approx. 9,000 kilometres with a nine-day break in Darwin for R&R and racing. Overall 28 days.
There will also be many inclusions,e.g. a visit to the Qantas Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame in Longreach, a lay-day in Mt.Isa with a Bus Tour, a visit to Katherine Gorge,a Sunset Dinner Cruise in Darwin and a possible Barramundi Fishing trip as well!
We will also visit Mataranka hot pools, the Iconic Daly Waters Hotel(with Bowls in the Main street!) and many other interesting and iconic destinations enroute to Darwin.
Returning, we visit the Devil's Marbles, Alice Springs, Erldunda, Uluru, Kulgera and Coober Pedy etc.
There is a one-way option as we appreciate not everybody has 4 weeks available.
This will entail freighting your bike back from Darwin and flying home(at your own expense.)

It is envisaged the Sydney group will join the Tour at Narrabri, NSW on the second evening.(First night stop-over for NSW riders.)
The Queensland group will be joining us at Miles, QLD. on the third evening. (First night stop-over for QLD riders.)
There will be a back-up Van with trailer for break-downs, cold drinks and a small suitcase each, as we do need space for a large bike in the event of a puncture or whatever. Please carry your basics on your own bike.
This allows us to keep moving and arrive at each nights pre-arranged accommodations. Any repairs can be sorted then, if required.
Racing motorcycles can be freighted to Darwin and return for $1100.

July 16. Friday. Narrabri to Miles, Qld. 450k. Meet Qld. riders.
July 17. Saturday. Miles to Tambo. 530k.
July 18. Sunday. Tambo to Longreach. 320k, afternoon around Longreach.
July 19. Monday. Longreach to Mt.Isa. 630k.
July 20. Tuesday. Mt.Isa Bus Tour and day off the bikes.
July 21. Wednesday. Mt.Isa to Tennant Creek with Lunch at Barkly Homestead. 660K.This is Australia's Route #66!!
July 22. Thursday. Tennant Creek to Daly Waters.400k.
July 23. Friday. Daly Waters to Katherine and Katherine Gorge.300k.

Obviously this will be a major challenge for ourselves and our bikes.
Please ensure your bike is in great condition with new tyres, if possible.
Servicing and tyres will be available in Darwin if required.

2 x persons + 1 x room = $10,900
1 x person + 1 x room + 1 x Rental H-D = $13,900
2 x persons + 1 x room + 1 x H-D Rental = $15,900
We stay at the best available Motels and Hotels whilst on Tour, minimum 3-Star.
In Darwin we stay at The Mindil Beach Casino from July 24-29th before moving to the Hidden Valley Holiday Park during the Race Meeting days.
